About Paperino
Paperino is a free guide site for money and markets. We explain crypto, stocks, currencies and precious metals in plain language — with no accounts, no sign-up and nothing to sell.
What we focus on
Plain language
Every guide is written for someone starting from zero. No jargon walls, no assumed background — just the explanation you were looking for.
Safety first
A large part of the site is about not losing money: the scams people actually fall for, the costs that are easy to miss, and how to check something for yourself before you commit to it.
24 languages
Every article is published in 24 languages, so you can read it in the one you actually think in.
Who is behind this site
Paperino Academy is an independent publisher of financial education. Articles are written under the site's own name rather than invented personal bylines: drafting is AI-assisted, and every article is read, checked and approved by a human editor before publication — the standard our editorial page commits to publicly. When we get something wrong, the correction is made in the article itself, dated, not quietly.
A note on the name: "Paperino" is also the Italian name of Donald Duck. This site is not affiliated with the Disney character or any similarly named product — the duck is a namesake, not a mascot. Here, Paperino means one thing: plain-language guides to money.
How the site is funded
The site is free to read, and its funding model is clearly labelled advertising. We take no affiliate commissions, publish no sponsored content, and sell no financial products — no exchange, wallet, broker or fund pays us to be recommended, which is precisely why none are.
We publish education, not advice: no price predictions, no buy-or-sell calls, no personal recommendations. What we can promise is that every guide tries to leave you able to check things for yourself — and our tools run entirely in your browser, so nothing you type into them ever leaves your device.
